- The BOSS BF-3 is a flanger pedal, it is usually placed toward the back of the signal chain.
8. Can I use the BOSS BF-3 as a tremolo effect pedal?
- Yes. The BOSS BF-3 has a gate/pan mode that can create a tremolo effect. You can also control the knobs to get your desired sound.
9. Does BOSS BF-3 lose some of the low ends on the bass?
- No. There isn’t any noticeable loss on the low ends.
10. Is the BOSS BF-3 a true bypass pedal?
- No. The BOSS BF-3 is a buffered pedal.

- No. The cables would have to loop back to the chain.
